The Jeep Galileo Concept was shown later in 2015 at the Guangzhou Auto Show after its Shanghai reveal. Lots of work needed to be completed on the wood sculpture as it took on a lot of humidity and started warping in places. Luckily we had a modeler fly in from the Shanghai design office to make quick repairs on the spot.
Other than the transformer starting to smoke as soon as we tried kicking on the power (improper switch setting), everything worked like a charm. The screens all lit up and the displays all synced to begin the interactive presentation.
This was the second time publicly showing China how awesome this SUV brand is and how advanced its potential could possibly get in the coming years with the advent of the fully connected Jeep. I believe this concept had an awe-inspiring impact on many who experienced it.
