Getting Started with HAM Radio

I recently passed my HAM radio technician exam and earned my amateur radio license. The world of HAM radio is truly fascinating—it’s an incredible journey into understanding radio signals, frequency allocations, and much more. This experience has inspired new ideas and possibilities for future interactions. Like many enthusiasts, I’ve found it easy to fall into the excitement of acquiring new gear (GAS), which is part of the fun in this hobby! Getting started with HAM radio is a really rewarding hobby!

Radios are such a rewarding hobby! I’m currently studying for my General license, which will allow me to transmit on a wider range of frequencies. It’s a fantastic way to dive deeper into the world of electronics and expand your technical knowledge.
